The Four Horsemen, Famine is a Seasonal scent with a limited production.
Will Carius, of Barrister And Mann fame, is at it again, producing eXceptional products and unforgettable scents. From his regular offerings to his Seasonal surprises, these loyal fans are never disappointed.
This Aftershave balm is a lightweight, non-greasy, skin-soothing masterpiece. Will spent years on its formulation – not willing to release it until it met his standards. It is a concoction of oils, extracts, butters, and more than brings your skin a soothing treat after a shave.
The Four Horsemen might seems an odd subject for perfumery unless you are Will Carius. Will has long been wanting to tackle this subject in scent for years. And now he has. The apocryphal representation of the end of time – in literary and biblical circles – has been four horseriders who bring about destruction. Death, War, Famine, and Plague have been the name given to these riders. Will has created a base chypre scent for death (as the end of all things) and the others build off it. For the famine aroma, Will focused on dryness. Using a fragrance that smells of dry ice/chemical desiccants, famine brings to mind parched, sun-scorch lands.
